Benefits of challenges/failures

Hannah Joshua

Challenges brings out the best in us if accepted with the right mindset

Here are some benefits of challenges

Challenges create resilience: you tend to bounce back better and stronger after you are confronted with challenges.

Challenges developed maturity: good people are good because they have come to wisdom through failures. The most kindest and considerate people are those who have gone through challenges and came out stronger.

Challenges pushes the envelop of accepted performance. Failures create you the strength and courage to stand and do better next time,it makes you go extra miles in achieving required outcome in the positive way.

Challenges provide greater opportunities: every set back is a wake-up call to a better comeback with greater force and ability.

Challenges prompt innovations: when you are confronted with a challenge the brain opens up to possible solutions and ideas that when combined together leads to inventions.

Challenges recaps unexpected benefits: some of the great stories of success can be traced to mistakes that lead to a discovery. Examples Edison and the phonograph, Kellogg’s corn flakes resulted from a boiled wheat which was accidentally left in a baking pan over night.

Challenges motivate: failure is the greatest motivator. For instance after failing mathematics for many times I decided one day to ask for help on why I was failing and I got the secret since them mathematics became my favourite subject..

Finally challenges helps us unlock the hidden potentials that are embedded in us .

The joy of being a woman by Abigail Jacob

The Joy of Being a woman

Abigail Jacob

W- wise
O- Obedient
M- Marvelous
A- Amazing
N- Noticable character within.

Being a woman is an amazing gift from God.

She’s a prayer warrior, she is a friend.

She’s an amazing special being from God. She’s a prophetess.

She has an uncommon strength. God gave her an uncommon strength to incubate a baby in her womb for 9month.

A woman is unique, special and one of a kind.

She’s beautiful, she has a heart of gold. She’s priceless.

She’s strong. She knows her value and worth.

She is so precious to GOD. Never hurt a woman. Her tears means a lot to God.

Just like Hannah, her tears meant a lot to God. That He gave her Samuel. Her prayers reached God.

Deborah a prophetess. She was really a great woman in her generation.

There are lot of great women in this generation.

No matter your past mistakes as a woman, God can still use you to do great exploits just like Rahab in the Bible.

That GOD almighty could use her, it was through her lineage that Christ was born.

Woman you matter a lot to the most high God.
No matter how terrible you think your life is, you can still be used by God.

My disability by Kareem Ahmed Isola

My disability

Kareem Ahmed Isola

My disability is not an excuse for me to be a lability, but it is a time for me to show my versatility, to not rely on people’s sympathy but their empathy, so i can contribute my lil quota to my society.
The world may see me as blind, but it is not in my mind, the path to my greatness i shall find, through my education, vocation and the vision in my mind.
Every other day when i wake up, i thank the almighty for all the things around me, within myself i have made up, i would try my best and be the best version of me, struggle and never give up, until the world couldnt spell Fame without me.

Give a try (Day 10th Challenge) by Abigail Jacob

Abigail Jacob

You don’t know what you are made of until you give a try.

I am someone that always gets scared in trying something new.

Well virtually everyone may become phobic in trying something new.

Well sometimes back I was given an opportunity to make a meal, but I was seriously nervous, I gave a try it didn’t work as I expected.

So another time I was given another opportunity to try again.
I tried something I have never done.

And this time around I was so shocked everyone loved it and were surprised that I could do it.

So another day I was given an opportunity to make something and this time it was gonna be more stressful than the first one.

I asked God to help me knowing fully well that I have never done this before. And guess what happened, I gave a try and God really helped me.

Everyone said that the really loved the meal, I was so shocked. At times you really don’t know what you can do until you give a try.

Don’t look down on yourself when an opportunity is given, always believe that you can do it. And always depend on God and trust in Him for his Grace.

God’s grace is sufficient for you. You don’t know what you are made up of until you give a try and you will be amazed by what you can do.

Unity in Strength (Day 15th Challenge) byAbigail Jacob

Unity in Strength

Abigail Jacob

In this life no man is an
Island, we need each other to work as a team to succeed.

I will give a brief story that there is unity in Strength.

There were two brothers that lived together in a community, they always fought.

Their father always advised them to always live in peace and get to understand themselves.

The younger one always felt he was stronger than his elder brother since his elder brother looks so skinny.

One day the father thought about a way he could make his both sons to live in peace, he sent both of them to the jungle.

He sent them with few items that they need in the journey. On their to the jungle the found an old man who encouraged them to stay in his place.

Which they did, during their with the old man he gave some advice about the jungle, letting them know that the jungle is filled with a lot of wild animals and that the should always be together.

He gave them some weapons to use fight against any wide animals, so they the brothers left the old man’s house.

While on their way the two brothers had a misunderstanding so they both had to part on different ways.

While they patted ways a bear came to attack the younger brother, he was screaming shouting for help. The elder brother heard him screaming so he said to it seems my brother is in danger let me go and help him.

He ran as fast as he could, the bear🐻 was about to kill his brother and threw a very big stone that got the bear 🐻 on the head.

The bear 🐻 died the very spot. The younger brother started crying and said he now understand that their is Unity in Strength 💪. They both cried and hugged each other and went home together.

Everyone is important,no one has it all. There is Unity in Strength 💪.

Know your worth by Abigail Jacob

Know your worth

A lot of times we care about people who don’t value us.

We go extra miles just to please them and at the end the things we do for them don’t matter to them.

Know your worth in the lives of people. You are special, unique and one of a kind.

You are valuable, you are worth it. The fact that someone does not appreciate or value you, does not mean that another person won’t.

Don’t let anyone make you feel inferior because you are valuable.

You matter a lot to God because he has deposited a lot of Potentials within you.

You are loved, you are smart, you are beautiful, you are one in million.

Someone out there needs your smiles. Be you. Don’t change just to please someone.

Try to discover the unique you. You matter a lot. You are loved.

Melodie Beattie said,”Accept yourself. Love yourself as you are. Your finest work, your best movements, your joy, peace, and healing comes when you love yourself. You give a great gift to the world when you do that. Revel in self-love”.

CIVIL WAYS TO COMMUNICATE

  1. Instead of saying you are lying, say THIS IS NOT TRUE
  2. Instead of saying, this post is fake say ARE YOU SURE OF THIS?
  3. Instead of saying, you are wrong say THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE
  4. Instead of saying, you will be punished say THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO THIS
  5. Instead of saying, I am talking and you are not paying attention say I WILL LIKE TO GET YOUR ATTENTION
  6. Instead of saying I don’t have your time say I WILL LIKE TO END THE CONVERSATION NOW
  7. Instead of saying what you are saying does not make sense say IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTION THAN THIS?
  8. Instead of saying what you are doing is bad say THIS BEHAVIOR IS INAPPROPRIATE

9.Instead of saying this child is a slow learner say THIS CHILD IS AN UPCOMING LEARNER

  1. Instead of saying ” get out from here” say PLEASE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED YOU LEAVE THIS PLACE. SOME SOCIAL RULES THAT MAY HELP YOU:
  2. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call, presume they have something important to attend to;
  3. Return money that you have borrowed even before the other person remembers lending it to you. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes;
  4. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner. If possible ask them to order their choice of food for you;
  5. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don’t you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;
  6. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;
  7. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;
  8. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what’s 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;
  9. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;
  10. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you’re;
  11. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.
  12. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;
  13. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;
  14. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;
  15. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors’ appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say “I hope you’re okay”. Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they’ll do so without your inquisitiveness;
  16. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;
  17. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;
  18. Never give advice until you’re asked;
  19. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;
  20. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly – just stay out of it;
  21. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech; and
  22. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don’t talk about your children in the midst of the barren.

22.After reading a good message, try to say” Thanks for the message”. APPRECIATION remains the easiest way of getting what you don’t have.

Teacher Chucks Part 1 Episode 2 by Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde

PART 1

Episode 2

TEACHER CHUKS

©️Opeyemi Ojerinde Akintunde

Jemima must have seen the look of interest in my eyes and the way I was putting my hands in to my trouser pockets to talk relaxation to my manhood, because it’s longing for Jemima was always very obvious, almost standing erect anytime she smiled at me.
She knew I wanted her, even though I appeared shy in her presence.
One day, she walked up to me while I was waiting for her brother who had gone on errands…
“Can you handle me?”
Was all Jemima asked, she walked away from me, swaying her large hips while looking over her shoulder and giggling at me.
She walked towards her parent’s room and left the door to the room wide opened.
I could see her unbuttoning her cloth, while still looking at me…
I was glued…
I had been starved of quality television ever since we got to the north and this screen Jemima was playing for me was too interesting to be ignored….
but yet I heard the loud voice of my mother playing in my head, “Don’t awaken Love when it is not ripe, Control your Longing, Don’t let your Longing Control you”…
That was my mother’s voice during our family morning devotion that day… I
was hearing the replay so loud and clear, but by that time Jemima was fully naked, her breasts stood
firm like two large oranges asking me to come squeeze them and have a full suck…
Her hips stood distinctively asking me to come caress them and out of the blues, I started crying…
I was crying at the perfection of beauty that stood before me and how I longed to have it, but yet my mother’s words were like heavy steel on my legs….
“Hey, Guy why are you looking like a zombie?” I heard Haruna’s voice…
Haruna had entered unnoticed and as he followed my gaze, he saw his naked Sister who started rushing to wear her pants…
“Almighty God!” Haruna screamed….
That was my saving Grace, I bolted out of the house, muttering “THANK YOU JESUS!
Although another part of me kept telling me I just missed an opportunity of a lifetime…
I avoided Haruna’s place for two weeks, although Haruna apologized on behalf of his sister…
However, another day of test came.
For those two weeks I avoided Haruna’s place, I was always imagining another opportunity, because my hunger for Jemima was hot.
I had gone to Haruna’s again for his textbook but met his absence. I met Jemima picking some beans, the moment she sighted me, she ran inside.
I followed her in, trying to see.
INSPIRED BY THE LIVING WORD
7
if I could tell her that I held nothing against her, but Alas! She had stripped herself naked
again and she said these wicked words…
“I thought you were a big boy, I didn’t know you were a mommy’s boy”
I should have bolted out of the house, but I followed the string of lust pulling me towards
her.
Jemima took away my virginity and that was the beginning of my journey.
I became addicted to her like I was high on something because No day could go without
me having Jemima.
It could be very early in the morning on my way to school in an uncompleted building at
around 6:30 am or during break time when I gave the security men tips to let me get out
or late at night when I lied to my parents I was going to study with Haruna….
Jemima was never exhausted, she was a horse as she taught me all sorts. I was having
the best time of my life, I was still very brilliant at school, so my parents didn’t suspect
anything except once that my mother found a pack of Protective Condoms in my school
bag…
I had to lie to my naive mother who didn’t like to push things, she always believed her
children. I told her I seized it from one of the younger students….Till now, I don’t know
why my parents never knew the terrible life I was living …I guess they trusted me too
much. Even if God had shown my parents in their dream, I am sure they would have
waved it, because I was a very good boy at home and at School. Jemima was my only
weak point and devil.
After about a year of active Sex with Jemima, She later introduced me into something
deeper, she told me she was no longer having fun, because it was just two of us alone.
One day, Jemima brought five of her friends and told me to have intercourse with them
all…
And I did….. I had fun but if only I knew that one of the girl was not an ordinary girl I would
have never embarked on such sexual escapade….She was a VAMPIRE and a
CARRIER… What kind of Vampire was she? And what was she carrying? Find out in the
next part
